SGM GCS is a part of "Gurugnanasambandar Mission", managed by the esteemed Dharmapuram Adheenam. The mission is named after the Adhi Guru of Dharmapuram Adheenam and is founded upon three core objectives aimed at serving society in meaningful ways.
The Dharmapuram Adheenam, also known as the Dharmapuram Mutt or Dharmapuram Aadeenam, is a prominent Saivite (Shaivism) monastic institution and a trust based in the town of Dharmapuram, which is located in the Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu, India.
